All sounds are resynthesized speech, greatly expanded in time, invoking the names of various Aztec gods chosen for the varied phoneme content of their names (except for Cenotaph; see its details). This source material is then layered and offset in time to produce fascinating interactions as the time slices of the original sounds slide past one another in and out of phase. The changing timbres exhibit evolution through time and pitch producing what I call timbral polyphony.
