about

A journey through sonic vistas of the imagination.

This is my first large scale orchestral work. It's all over the place, stylistically, but I retain a soft spot for it.
The nontonal first section gives way to tonality for the rest of the piece. I have always thought of the style and form as "evolutionary," meaning its material changes and adapts into different contexts as the piece goes on. Stick with it if you like loud, triumphant endings.
